The story
The narrative of Guilty Crown begins with Shuu Ouma, a high school student living in a Japan devastated by the Apocalypse Virus, a lethal pandemic unleashed by a meteorite impact. This cataclysmic event, which occurred a decade prior to the series' start, left Shuu an orphan and profoundly altered his personality, making him timid and fearful.
Shuu's life takes an extraordinary turn when he encounters Inori Yuzuriha, a mysterious pop star and member of the rebel organization Funeral Parlor. Through Inori, Shuu acquires the "King's Right Hand," a genetic ability allowing him to manifest weapons from the hearts of others. This newfound power immediately embroils him in a dangerous conflict between Funeral Parlor and a clandestine government agency, both vying for control over his unique abilities and, ultimately, the future of the ravaged world.
