The story
Centuries ago, colossal, unintelligent beings known as Titans nearly wiped out humanity, seemingly devouring people for sport. The last remnants of mankind survive by enclosing themselves within a fortified city, protected by immense walls that have kept Titans at bay for over a century. This fragile peace shatters when a colossal Titan breaches the outer wall, allowing smaller Titans to flood the city.
Teenage Eren and his foster sister Mikasa witness their mother's horrific death during the ensuing chaos. Driven by this tragedy and a deep-seated hatred, Eren vows to eradicate every Titan. He enlists in the military, alongside Mikasa and their friend Armin, to fight the monstrous threat. The story follows their struggle to survive and understand the Titans, with the very existence of humanity hanging in the balance.
