The story
The Republic of San Magnolia wages war against the robotic Legion, deploying combat drones called Juggernauts. While officially unmanned, these machines are piloted by the Eighty-Six, a marginalized population stripped of their rights and forced to fight from internment camps. These Eighty-Sixers are viewed as expendable tools, fighting a desperate battle on behalf of a society that denies their humanity.
Among the Eighty-Sixers is Shin, the stoic captain of the Spearhead Squadron. He and his comrades face constant danger and the ever-present threat of death on the battlefield. The narrative follows their struggle for survival and their fight against an overwhelming enemy, all while grappling with the systemic oppression and prejudice they endure from the Republic. The story explores the harsh realities of war and the fight for dignity in a dystopian world.
