The story
The Holy Empire of Britannia, utilizing advanced humanoid mobile armor called Knightmare Frames, conquered Japan in 2010. Renamed Area 11, Japan's citizens, now called Elevens, endure harsh conditions under Britannian rule, while the aristocracy enjoys privilege. This subjugation fuels a growing resistance movement throughout Area 11, fighting for Japan's independence from the imperial power.
Lelouch, a Britannian prince living in exile as a student, becomes entangled in this conflict. A chance encounter with a mysterious girl, C.C., grants him the Geass, a potent ability to command anyone. With this power, Lelouch aims to dismantle Britannia from within, initiating a rebellion that pits him against the vast empire and its forces.
