The story
The Promised Neverland centers on Emma, Norman, and Ray, three of the most intelligent children residing at Grace Field House. Along with a large cast of other young orphans, they live a seemingly perfect life, provided with excellent food, comfortable clothing, and a nurturing environment for their education, all under the watchful eye of their beloved caretaker, whom they call "Mom." This found family enjoys a close bond and a carefree existence within the orphanage's walls.
However, the children are strictly forbidden from venturing outside the gates of Grace Field House. This restriction takes on a sinister new meaning when Emma and Norman stumble upon a horrifying truth about their home and the world beyond its confines. Driven by this shocking discovery, the story follows their desperate attempts to devise an escape plan, with their lives and the lives of their fellow orphans hanging in the balance.
