The story
The world of Heavenly Delusion is set in a post-apocalyptic Japan, where a cataclysmic event in 2024 has left the landscape in ruins. Grotesque, man-eating creatures known as Man-Eaters roam freely, preying on the scattered remnants of humanity. Survivors cling to existence in isolated enclaves, struggling for resources and safety amidst the desolation.
Amidst this perilous reality, the story centers on Kiruko, a young woman working odd jobs in Nakano, and Maru, a boy entrusted to her care. Kiruko accepts a dying woman's final request: to transport Maru to a mysterious and fabled destination known only as "Heaven." Their journey across the monster-infested wasteland is fraught with danger and mystery, as they navigate the collapsed civilization and confront the threats that lurk around every corner, driven by the hope of reaching their elusive destination.
