The story
In a world where roughly 80% of humanity possesses unique superpowers known as Quirks, the lines between heroes and villains are constantly drawn. Aspiring heroes attend specialized institutions like U.A. High School to hone their abilities and prepare for a life of crime-fighting. However, Izuku Midoriya is among the 20% born without a Quirk, making his dream of becoming a hero seem impossible.
Despite his lack of power, Izuku yearns to enroll in U.A. High's esteemed Hero Program. His determination to overcome his Quirkless status and prove himself as a hero is the central driving force of the narrative. The stakes are high for Izuku, as his entire future and sense of purpose hinge on his ability to find a path to heroism in a world that seems to have no place for him.
