The story
Shirayuki, a resourceful and independent young woman, is a skilled pharmacist in the kingdom of Tanbarun. Her most distinctive feature is her vibrant apple-red hair. This unique trait unfortunately catches the eye of the kingdom's prince, who demands she become his concubine. Unwilling to submit, Shirayuki defiantly cuts her hair and escapes to the neighboring kingdom of Clarines, leaving her old life behind.
In Clarines, Shirayuki encounters Zen, a young man who, unbeknownst to her, is a prince of this new kingdom. With a much kinder disposition than her previous suitor, Zen quickly becomes a trusted friend. The story follows Shirayuki as she navigates her new surroundings, utilizes her medical skills, and strives to find her place and independence within Clarines, all while a romantic connection slowly develops between her and Prince Zen. Her journey is driven by her desire for autonomy and her burgeoning relationship.
