The story

Death Parade unfolds in a unique limbo, a collection of lavish bars where souls arrive after simultaneous deaths, unaware of their demise. Each bar is overseen by an arbiter, a bartender tasked with judging these new arrivals. Decim, the arbiter of Quindecim, serves cocktails while orchestrating a series of seemingly simple, yet psychologically brutal games. These Death Games are designed to push patrons to their limits, revealing their deepest fears and true character.

The stakes are absolute: winning the game grants a chance at reincarnation, while losing means eternal oblivion. Decim’s role is to observe and pass judgment, a process he has always approached with detached certainty. However, the arrival of a mysterious young woman, whose memories are fragmented and whose fate proves difficult to determine, challenges Decim’s established worldview and the very nature of the arbiters' judgments. This encounter drives the narrative as Decim grapples with the complexities of human morality and the burden of his role.
