The story
The story of Jujutsu Kaisen centers on Yuji Itadori, an exceptionally strong high school student leading an otherwise normal life. This changes when he encounters Curses, malevolent entities born from negative human emotions that cause widespread misfortune and death. To protect a friend under attack, Yuji consumes a cursed object, becoming the vessel for a formidable Curse known as the Double-Faced Specter.
Now sharing his body with this powerful entity, Yuji is recruited by the enigmatic sorcerer Gojo Satoru and enrolls in a specialized academy dedicated to combating Curses. He joins fellow students and sorcerers in a dangerous fight against these supernatural threats, navigating his new reality as a human-curse hybrid. The narrative explores his quest for "the right death" as he grapples with his cursed existence and the constant threat of the monstrous forces he now battles.
