The story
Koudo Ikusei Senior High presents itself as an ideal institution, offering students extensive freedoms and advanced facilities. However, this facade conceals a harsh reality: the school operates on a strict hierarchy, where only the most academically superior students receive true benefits and respect. The school segregates its "inferior" students into D-class, subjecting them to ridicule and disadvantage.
Kiyotaka Ayanokouji finds himself in D-class due to an unexplained lapse on his entrance exam. Alongside his classmates Suzune Horikita and Kikyou Kushida, Kiyotaka must contend with the school's discriminatory system. The narrative unfolds as Kiyotaka's interactions with these students begin to alter his circumstances, driving the plot as he attempts to navigate and potentially challenge the established social order within the high school. The stakes involve the students' future and their ability to thrive in a system designed to keep them down.
