The story
Promare unfolds in a world forever changed by the Burnish, a race of mutants with pyrokinesis who, three decades prior, unleashed widespread destruction. Society has adapted, with dedicated rescue teams like Burning Rescue formed to combat the ongoing threat of fire and the Burnish themselves.
The narrative ignites with the emergence of the Mad Burnish, a new, more aggressive faction of flame-wielding mutants. Their charismatic leader, Lio Fotia, believes in a different path for his people. Opposing him is Galo Thymos, a spirited new recruit to Burning Rescue, committed to protecting humanity. The clash between Lio's ideals and Galo's duty forms the core conflict, driving a high-stakes battle for the future of both Burnish and human kind.
