The story
The narrative of Spy x Family unfolds in a world gripped by a decades-long cold war between the rival nations of Ostania and Westalis. To prevent further conflict, a highly skilled Westalis spy, known only as Twilight, is tasked with "Operation Strix." This critical mission requires him to infiltrate the social circle of Donovan Desmond, a key Ostanian political figure whose actions threaten peace. To achieve this, Twilight must quickly assemble a family to gain access to an elite school attended by Desmond's son.
Adopting the alias Loid Forger, Twilight begins his search for a wife and child. He soon adopts Anya, a young girl with the secret ability to read minds, and marries Yor, who unbeknownst to him, is a deadly assassin. Each member of the newly formed Forger family harbors a profound secret, and for their own individual reasons, they must maintain the facade of a normal family. This precarious arrangement, driven by espionage and personal hidden agendas, places the fate of world peace directly in their hands.
