The story
Durarara!! introduces Ryuugamine Mikado, a young man who moves to Tokyo's Ikebukuro district, seeking the excitement of city life. His arrival immediately plunges him into the heart of urban legends and strange occurrences, particularly the sighting of a headless "Black Rider" on a jet-black motorcycle. This supernatural figure is a prominent part of the city's undercurrent of mystery and danger.
As Mikado settles into Ikebukuro, he finds himself amidst a complex web of anonymous gangs and dangerous individuals. Supernatural events begin to unfold, drawing both ordinary citizens and the city's more eccentric inhabitants into a growing commotion.
