The story
Dan Da Dan introduces Momo, a high school student from a lineage of spirit mediums, and her classmate Okarun, a dedicated occult enthusiast. Their initial interactions after Momo defends Okarun from bullies quickly escalate into an argument: Momo staunchly believes in ghosts but dismisses aliens, while Okarun is convinced of alien existence but denies ghosts. This disagreement propels them to seek proof.
To settle their debate, Momo ventures to an abandoned hospital rumored to host UFO sightings, and Okarun investigates a tunnel said to be haunted. Both teenagers are confronted with inexplicable and overwhelming paranormal phenomena. Amidst these encounters, Momo awakens a latent power, and Okarun gains a cursed ability, equipping them to face these new dangers. Their shared experiences also spark the beginning of a fated romance, setting the stage for their occult battles and journey through adolescence.
