The story
Akira Fudo, a compassionate but timid young man, has his life upended when his brilliant friend, Ryo Asuka, reveals a terrifying truth: an ancient race of demons is reawakening to reclaim Earth from humanity. Ryo proposes a desperate solution—to fight demons, one must become one. He urges Akira to unite with a demon, believing it's the only way to gain the necessary power.
Akira undergoes a horrific transformation, successfully merging with a demon to become Devilman. This new form grants him immense supernatural abilities while retaining his human soul. Now, Akira, as Devilman, must confront the escalating demonic threat, battling not only the monstrous creatures but also the moral complexities of his new existence and the fight for the future of humanity.
