The story
The film centers on the half-demon InuYasha and his human love interest, Kagome, who was transported from modern Japan to the Sengoku period. They are joined by their companions, including the monk Miroku, the demon slayer Sango, and the fox demon Shippo. Their mission to collect Shikon Jewel shards and defeat Naraku is interrupted by a new threat.
A Shikon Jewel shard inadvertently revives Menomaru, the son of a powerful Chinese demon named Hyoga, who was sealed away two centuries prior by InuYasha's father. Menomaru seeks to absorb his father's dormant power to achieve world domination. InuYasha and his friends must unite to prevent Menomaru from unleashing this ancient evil and conquering their world.
