Directing style
Scheinert’s visual approach anchors chaotic, lonely, and tense narratives primarily through eye-level medium shots and closeups rendered with a consistently shallow depth of field. The lighting relies on natural and motivated sources, mixing direct sunlight with the harsh, sterile glow of indoor fluorescents and practical fixtures. This naturalistic lighting is framed within a split of day and night, interior and exterior settings, and is finished with a cool, desaturated color grade that favors earthy greens, muted ochres, and deep shadows punctuated by sudden, saturated reds and oranges.
