The story
After a night out drowning his sorrows following a rejection, 26-year-old salaryman Yoshida encounters Sayu, a high school girl, by the roadside. In his inebriated state, he offers her a place to stay for the night. Unable to turn her out onto the streets the next morning, Yoshida allows Sayu, a runaway from home, to continue living with him.
This unexpected cohabitation forms the core of the narrative. The series follows Yoshida, a male protagonist, and Sayu as they navigate their new, awkward living situation. The story explores the challenges and subtle developments in their relationship, driven by Sayu's need for a safe space and Yoshida's unexpected role as her guardian, with themes of rehabilitation and coming of age central to their evolving dynamic.
