The story
Following the devastating Fourth Impact, Shinji, Asuka, and Rei find themselves without their Evangelions, seeking sanctuary among the last remnants of humanity on a ravaged Earth. Their lives diverge significantly from their past as pilots, as they experience a semblance of normal existence in this post-apocalyptic landscape.
Despite this temporary reprieve, the world remains in peril. A new impact threatens to bring about the true conclusion of Evangelion, while the Human Instrumentality Project nears its final stages. WILLE, the anti-Nerv organization, prepares for a grueling last stand, aiming to avert this ultimate catastrophe and prevent the Final Impact from unfolding. The fate of humanity hangs in the balance as the characters confront their destiny.
