What is The Good The Bad The Weird about?
The story of three Korean outlaws in 1930s Manchuria and their dealings with the Japanese army and Chinese and Russian bandits. The Good (a bounty hunter), the Bad (a hitman), and the Weird (a thief) battle the army and the bandits in a race to use a treasure map to uncover the riches of legend.
The Good, the Bad, the Weird is a 2008 South Korean Western action film directed, co-written, and co-produced by Kim Jee-woon, and starring Song Kang-ho, Lee Byung-hun, and Jung Woo-sung. The film is an homage to the 1966 Spaghetti Western The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, and is set in Japanese-occupied Manchuria during the late 1930s.
