Following his defeat by Master Ip, Cheung Tin Chi tries to make a life with his young son in Hong Kong, waiting tables at a bar that caters to expats. But it's not long before the mix of foreigners, money, and triad leaders draw him once again to the fight.

Master Z: Ip Man Legacy is a 2018 martial arts film directed by Yuen Woo-ping and produced by Raymond Wong, Donnie Yen, and Dave Bautista. A Hong Kong-Chinese co-production, it is a spin-off of the Ip Man film series, and takes place after the 2015 film Ip Man 3. This film stars Max Zhang, Dave Bautista, Michelle Yeoh, Tony Jaa, and Liu Yan, and was released on 21 December 2018.
