Directing style

Bazzoni constructs tense, lonely psychological thrillers primarily within interior spaces, utilizing eye-level camera angles and a shallow depth of field to isolate characters in medium shots and closeups. His lighting relies heavily on practical fixtures and window light to divide scenes between night and day, frequently casting spaces in a cool, desaturated color grade dominated by deep, ink-like blues, muted grays, and cold slate tones. When the camera pulls back to wide or establishing shots, the compositions maintain this stark, mysterious atmosphere through a controlled palette that occasionally introduces warm, earthy accents.
