Directing style
Triet’s visual grammar is anchored in interior-driven crime dramas and thrillers, utilizing eye-level medium shots with a shallow depth of field to isolate characters in their immediate environments. Naturalistic window light, practical fixtures, and daylight sources illuminate these tense, lonely spaces, which are rendered through a predominantly cool, desaturated color grade. The palette leans heavily into muted earth tones, deep blues, and dark charcoal grays, punctuated by sharp accents of crimson red.
