Directing style
Adil El Arbi builds a tense, chaotic atmosphere by framing characters in tight medium shots and closeups with a shallow depth of field that separates them from their environments. Visuals are dominated by night interiors and exteriors, utilizing a high-contrast teal-and-orange color grade alongside cool, desaturated tones, with practical sources, neon, and low-sun golden hour light carving out the frames. The camera maintains a grounded perspective, relying heavily on eye-level angles with occasional low-angle shifts to anchor the high-energy crime and action blocking.
