Directing style
Seltzer’s visual style relies on eye-level medium shots and closeups captured with a shallow depth of field, framing character-driven action squarely at the viewer's eye line. The cinematography is defined by high-key exterior day scenes lit primarily by direct sunlight, favoring a bright, naturalistic base exposure over stylized interior lighting. The color palette pairs a muted foundation of sandy beiges, slate grays, and cool desaturated tones with sudden, highly saturated pops of hot pink, emerald green, and deep blue.
