The story
The story centers on Fuutarou Uesugi, a high school student facing financial hardship, who accepts a lucrative part-time tutoring position. His new students are the Nakano quintuplets, five sisters who attend the same school. Despite their beauty, the quintuplets are academically struggling, exhibiting poor grades and a strong aversion to studying. This presents Fuutarou with a significant challenge beyond simply improving their academic performance.
The narrative is driven by Fuutarou's efforts to not only raise the quintuplets' grades but also to gain their trust and overcome their initial resistance to his teaching. As a male protagonist amidst a female harem, the series explores the evolving dynamics and comedic situations that arise from his interactions with each distinct sister. The central conflict revolves around whether Fuutarou can successfully navigate their personalities and academic deficiencies to fulfill his tutoring responsibilities.
