Ella Joyce is an American actress. She is best known for her roles as Eleanor Emerson on the FOX sitcom Roc, Sarah in Tyler Perry's Temptation, Earlene in Our Family Wedding, Betty Webb in Selma, Lord, Selma, Detective Waller in Set It Off, and McCabe in Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot. She also had a recurring role as Jasmine on the sitcom My Wife & Kids.
She has received numerous awards, nominations, and accolades for her performances in the theater, including the New York AUDELCO and the NAACP Image Nomination (for theater and television). She is also a recipient of the Spirit Of Detroit Award from the Mayor's Office in 1998.
